Backstory
Cheeky grew up in the East End and was once everyone's best friend there.
His closest companion was Albert Krag, the gentleman gangster.
They had a mutual affection for a hobgoblin woman named Esme (Albert got the girl).
Once, he wanted to give her peonies, her favourite flowers.
When Albert's twin sons Phil and Grant devoured Albert, as is Mobgoblin tradition, they seized control.
Cheeky fell from right hand to the very bottom of the ladder. He endured years of low-level work until Ian Beetle slaughtered ten innocent Donloners.
Cheeky killed Ian the Beetle with and was pushed out of the Mobgoblins entirely.
The night at Esme's:
Cheeky was with the Krag Twins and Ian the Beetle that night at Esme's.
When everything went wrong, Cheeky was at the bathrooms.
He believes (or wants to believe) that it was just Ian the Beetle, not the Krags.
He uses Minor Illusion to make Ian believe that the vial of acid is a heart, for him to consume.
He kills Ian with a dagger in his neck.
Alias:
Deeky Chustbins.
Appearance
A 74-year-old red-skinned hobgoblin, slightly hunched.
Wears a very nice shirt he has been wearing for approximately 25 years and a black jacket for concealment.
Carries two hand crossbows.
His familiar is John Nipples: a very old cat with three eyes, two of them blind. Sometimes hides in his jacket.
In episode 2, his disguise consists of turning his hat inside out.
Personality
The veteran.
Warm, funny and protective of his crew.
He has always tried only to harm people 'in the game.'
Accidentally killing the crane operator in episode 2 devastates him.
He believes in the old ways, honour among thieves, which Albert Krag embodied and the twins don't.
The Mobgoblins are his family and the only life he knows. Losing this seems to be his biggest fear.
He feels he has nowhere to go, besides the Mobgoblins and the East End.
Signature way of getting rid of bodies is to put them in a dustbin with acid.
Loves cars, drives like a maniac. Very upset when they de-pimp the wagon.
Distrusts the Mudlarks: 'Nasty fellas, they are. Nasty.'
